Miki Ando, born in December 18, 1987, is a Japanese figure skater. She is the 2007 World Figure Skating Champion, the 2004-2005 Japanese National Champion and the 2004 World Junior Champion. Miki is the first and only female skater to successfully complete a quadruple jump (Salchow) in competition. Ando landed the first ladies' quadruple Salchow at the 2002 Junior Grand Prix Final. In 2006, she entered Chukyo University in her hometown.
